To our valued clients and patients,
Due to concerns about the corona virus in our local community, we are taking additional precautionary measures within our hospital to keep our doctors, staff, animals, and clients safe while continuing to provide essential patient care. Effective 3/16/2020, only hospital personnel will be allowed inside all areas of the clinic until further notice. We are putting this policy into effect to ensure we can continue to care for your pets during this unprecedented event, while still keeping you and our team as protected as possible.
What clients should do when they arrive at the hospital with patients:
Please call us when you arrive in the parking lot. Remain in your vehicle with your animal. Veterinary staff will discuss your needs by phone and make arrangements for care. At the end of the call, a team member will come to the parking lot in full personal protective equipment (PPE) to bring your pet in for evaluation.
After the medical team examines your pet, we will call you with recommendations and a plan moving forward. Verbal consent for treatment and financial estimates will be authorized via this conversation.
Once the care of your animal is complete, the discharge process will be carried out over the phone and any remaining balance will be collected. Credit card or CareCredit given over the phone is preferred, although we will continue to accept cash/check.
We will keep these policies in place until the concern of infection within our local community has lessened. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time, and we encourage you to call us with any questions or concerns. Most importantly, stay safe and healthy!
